A 'yes' would be a most welcome birthday present. That and the Sugababes coming round my house to do a stripogram.[b said:Quote[/b] (Smiffy @ Dec. 21 2006,08:38)]The stadium plans will be decided by SBC and RDC on Jan 24th and 25th 2007, with a 2pm start...

Anyway he said it is pretty much a formaility it will be approved. Rochford CC have got minimal objections and Ron Martins presentation won him many friends on the council.
I am told it is good as approved but not wanting to tempt thigns we will have to see I guess..

Anybody else get worried when they read this paragraph?[b said:Quote[/b] (Smiffy @ Dec. 21 2006,10:02)]Town Clerk Rob Tinlin said because the plans for Roots Hall marked a departure from the local development plan, the proposals would have to be referred to the Government Office For Eastern England. He added “There could be a delay if the two plans were called in for a public enquiry, or the Government delays making a decision.
Yep. Town Clerks who needs 'em.[b said:Quote[/b] (glasgowsufc @ Dec. 22 2006,10:40)]Anybody else get worried when they read this paragraph?[b said:Quote[/b] (Smiffy @ Dec. 21 2006,10:02)]Town Clerk Rob Tinlin said because the plans for Roots Hall marked a departure from the local development plan, the proposals would have to be referred to the Government Office For Eastern England. Just had a search and I was dead right (see link, and see what Mr Tinlin thinks is good value). Where do I pick up my winnings?[b said:Quote[/b] (C C Csiders @ Dec. 22 2006,10:45)]Yep. The chances of this undoubtedly grey man, in a grey suit, with a poor excuse for a beard, wearing bicycle clips (I've never seen him, but would bet this months salary on him looking exactly like that) liking football is ZERO.
You couldn't have got a more stereotypical council person if you had tried. The sort of person who commits their whole life to "public service" but in all reality only works for the council so they can hide themselves away from the real world. Having witnessed this first hand, it some strange kind of institutionalism.[b said:Quote[/b] (C C Csiders @ Dec. 22 2006,10:50)]Just had a search and I was dead right (see link, and see what Mr Tinlin thinks is good value).
