I always side on dodgy whilst Ron is still in charge.

People have been posting for months that discussions have been happening with different interested parties in the background. People have ignored that because of the doom and gloom and the belief ron would never sell. Karl is just one of those that have tried (not that he even made it in the door). He even said himself is aware of others that are interested, maybe they had a bit more success when trying to speak to Ron

Everyone’s contacts are on the football club side. This would likely be a Martin Dawn thing. Club staff won’t have known.

Oh ****. This could explain the no control filing. I think he’s still involved at Gillingham so presumably he couldn’t have any control at Southend so Martin Dawn would have had to give up control to allow him to invest?
