TZ Wino has asked me to let you all know that he has just taken a phone call from our highly popular and well respected Police Liaison Officer Spooner.

Paul said that although sounding emotional, the great guy wanted to express his gratitude to all SUFC supporters for their very kind words both in person and on this site. He went onto speak of the freindships he had made with the fans, and how choked up he felt making his final walk along the touchline on Tuesday night hearing the fantastic ovation that the faithful in the stands gave him.
It speaks volumes that whilst great things were being performed by our team on the pitch, fans took time out to avert their attention and show appreciation to one man in a uniform.

I was fortunately able to offer my personal good wishes and thanks when I spoke to him on Tuesday and I know many have already sent their kind messages on an earlier thread, but if anyone wishes to add theirs or send again please do so.I know it will be appreciated.

I hope he gets to Barnet on Saturday even if it is in an unofficial capaciy, after all he is a die hard Blues fan.

The good news is guys and gals that Mr Spooner WILL be at Barnet! There has been some administrative mix up and he is still in an official capacity for that game so lets all make sure that he knows what we think of him....even the bad boys! Things would have been a lot worse if not for our favourite Dibble!!
