Thanks mate, fingers crossedBy then we should either have the bridging loan or be kaput - which I imagine was part of the Trusts thinking when agreeing the repayment period.

That is really really impressive.
I'm very certain that Ghost of C.F is not that person. He is in fact a nice, kindly spirit who believes there should be justice for club staff who do not get their wages in full and on time. Unfortunately, he does not get on very well with the moderators on here who take it in turns to find something unpleasant to say about him and seem to think he is not a truthful person. There is a big problem with the Fossetts development - it is not sensible to build a 3-sided stadium with no main stand in Phase 1 . That is the reason why there needs to be a rethink here - sponsors want the project to be viable and so succeed rather than to fail. We don't think Ron should own the stadium either -it is clearly not in the best interest of the club.
agreed. I wrestle with is supporting the club keeping this circus going i.e. endorsing the way staff are treatedWith no stewards/security, games can’t go ahead and you can forget about recruiting new staff, or even trying to drag agency staff in for it.
I can’t recall which game, but I was told around 6-8 weeks ago, a lot of matchday staff hadn’t shown up and the game was in jeopardy. We probably aren’t far away from this occurring again, but on a far larger scale.
I don’t look at these donations as bailing out Ron, I look at this as our way of saying thank you to the hard working folks behind the scenes, many of which are doing it because they are fans just like us. In fact, they are us.
I will be donating in due course (payday), not for Martin’s benefit, but for those who continue to make the effort for each and every one of us.
This 100%, he should. Will he, I doubt it.Absolutely incredible gesture from PG Site Services
What’s desperately needed now is a statement from Ron. The silence is absolutely deafening at the moment.
You are here to hurt our club, the players, the coaching teams, most importantly us fans. Admit that, then I respect you. Any others reason than hurting our club, then you are an liar who love to feeds on our misery’s.Absolutely correct with that . Our sponsors/advertisers group have submitted a 4-page summary to National League chiefs setting out exactly what has been happening at the club in respect of the unpaid wages to staff . We have asked them to take swift remedial action against the club . The letter has been with them for a number of weeks and as yet we have not received a formal reply . It could be they were waiting to see the outcome of the winding- up petition . I will get back to you when we do get that reply .
He is looking like a proper pillock. Plays the big shot, even donating to the Tories, but it’s ordinary folk bailing him outWhat’s desperately needed now is a statement from Ron. The silence is absolutely deafening at the moment.
This so needed. In a recent conversation with TL I said that as supporters we need clarity.I understand that in business you need to be careful what you say,Ron always plays his cards close to his chest but as a result with little to no information being released creates speculation that's a killer. This 100%, he should.
Tom Cruise is my choice .... someone who understands mission impossible might be useful!!I saw a post this morning on Twitter that had Ryan Reynolds tagged into it asking if he had any wealthy friends who might want to buy a club in the UK.
We can but dream.![]()
So as it stands and whether you agree with the sentiment or not, there has been a £40k loan from the Shrimpers Trust, a £40k loan from PG Site Services and approaching £15k via the gofundme. So getting on for a £100k bailout.
Just how much is Ron underfunding our club by exactly?
The club is relying on the best part of £100k of handouts. Not sustainable. Won't give up a slice, won't invite offers, won't listen.
He needs to go, immediately. Not fit or proper. His position is untenable.
Sorry, but we need to find a way somehow.
But, in the short term focus needs to go back to the fundraising for our staff, not arguing about whether loans are right or wrong. It's clearly a necessity right now or a number of people aren't getting paid.
A few beers down the Railway to celebrate? So what is your plan if Ron went this week?
Next time I want a loan I am going to PG Site Services.Next time I build a stadium I am going to PG Site Services
