Les was my father in law but very sadly passed away a few years back. His wife Jean still lives in Wakering as do his son Terry and my ex wife Janette. I played with Les when he was in his 40s and 50s for the Rovers. He was still so very far ahead of the rest of us on the pitch even at that age. He scored a few for the Blues too!

Agree with you on that one. I played against Gt Wakering when I first started playing as a youngster and he and Barry Beadle ripped us apart with out trying too hard.
