Echo News Teddy Taylor's son George in talks with group buying Southend United

I know for some that the 🐀 experience has cultivated a cautious and guarded approach to the new ownership with a fundamental expectation for immediate improvement to embargo, contracts and squad matters. But for Positivity sake let's have a bit of a sanity check here. What we can be sure of is that individually we have a group that are 'made of the right stuff' Successful achievers either as entrepreneurs or within a chosen profession. Individuals with integrity who are committing to a project from a personal financial basis where the expectation for quick or substantial returns are not a consideration. A group that has come together because in the majority an existing association or affiliation with the Club already exists, which captured a personal buy in. Yes it is hard to believe how we can go from one extreme of a despotic owner to a 'custodian' collective, but that is the cusp on which we stand.

As others have said, Sir Teddy was a huge Blues fan, he was also involved with the Trust - I believe he held an honorary title until his passing. If his son has half the passion for the club that his father did, and is prepared to get involved, then I am sure that is a good thing.

Hong Kong pre-season tour anyone?
Yes please. Occasionally a team comes out here. I saw Spurs here a few years ago playing the HK Premiership winners. A packed stadium and a full first team squad (Kane only came on for the last 15 mins).

As you are in HK I wonder if you are one of the wealthy gang taking over ?
