Terminator 4

Hollywood is so devoid of originality. 2007 was an awful year for cinema, not looking promising for the future :(

correction... 2007 was an awful year for big-budget hollywood films.

films like control, superbad and sunshine were the best ones IMO, all pretty low-budget and way better than the blockbusters (although bourne ultimatum was pretty good)

Bale usually makes pretty good choices with his films though. I have not heard anything about T4 being re-made, but Bale has been working with Nolan a lot lately and if he was at the helm that would at least in some way be encouraging....

Oh and for 2008, watch out for

Sweeney Todd
Charlie Wilson's War
Indiana Jones
No Country for Old Men
The Iron Man
Fanboys
Be Kind Rewind
21
Righteous Kill
Choke
The Love Guru
Dark Knight
Valkyrie
How to Lose Friends & Alienate People
Bond 22
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Box
Brüno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt
Frost/Nixon

Enough there to get on with

I disagree - cinema was generally awful for Hollywood and the independent scene as well. Made In England was about the highlight.

Haven't as yet seen Sunshine or Control but I have absolutely no intention of watching Superbad. Porkys for 2007.... :(

Please god no, Terminator should have ended on the second film end of.

The third one was taking the **** this is just going too far now.

The production company have actually signed up for Terminator 4,5 & 6 to all be released within the next 5 years and they want Bale to commit to all 3 movies.

In addition, Fox TV are currently putting the finishing touches to a 12 part series called "Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which will be based on the period after T2 when her and John move around and try to stay off the grid.

Was told this by a Friend of mine who works as a Digital Effects Designer in the States.
