Our finances have been grim reading for years - but then again so have the finances of so many other clubs - debt debt and yet more debts - just had a quick shufti at Colchesters - we are about 17m in debt they are 25m in debt - I suppose at least they have a new ground to show for it.
I have also had a look at the accounts of SWFC - because I live up here I take a look periodically at the Sheffield Clubs. When Wednesday tumbled from the Premier league about 20 odd years ago they owed massively for the times about 25m I think - despite change of ownerships debt writes off etc the company that operates Wednesday now has some 98m in accumlated losses - their 'debt' has been made to look better by share issues and share premium of about 65m.
Even the big clubs show massive debts -the only club, I can recall, that actually looked healthy financially was Arsenal. Even Chelsea look weak on paper RA has propped them up to the tune of about 1.5billion over the years and their deficit is 630M
