Correct and if am right they offered 400,000 but he turned it down than went to Canvey!!!!

Coventry did offer around 400K when he Steve Tilson aged around and was doing ok in the old Championship ( Div 1) Webb turned it down

But I think it was Northampton Town who did offer Steve a contract when Ronnie W released him … but Jeff King at Canvey offered double the money so he choose to Essex senior club Canvey at the time
