Tilson U 21

bas blue

Coach
On my way to work this morning listening to BBC essex. A guy on there was talking about the new England appointment. He went on to say that he heard a strong rumour Peter Taylor would be leaving the role as under 21 manager, and Steve Tilson would takeover whilst carrying out his duties with the Blues.

Just passing on what i heard. Anyone else hear it ?

That would be good new for Tilson & Southend, once the young England U21 player get to know what Tilson is like & been let go on free transfer in summer by Spurs or Arsenal, they would go to Southend as they know who Tilson are.

I'm glad you liked that interview

If Stuart Pearce had got the full job then word was that Peter Taylor would have stepped up to being the England no2. In those circumstances I'd have imagined that Tilly would probably have been quite high on the list of possible replacements for Taylor at U21 level.

The bloke doing that report sounded pi$$ed to me & hasn't probably ever seen a Southend game in his life.

Absolute rubbish.
