Tilson wins manager of the month

Well done Tilly and Brush!

If you look at our form since we took 2 points from the first 5 games, the award should have come our way months ago, but better late than never.

I was thinking this the other day.

If, and its a big IF, we do the league and cup double, surely Tilly should be up for Manager of the Season, across the whole of the English Leagues (including the Premier$hite). After all, when was the last time a league 2 club (or equivalent) achieved such a feat?! Its not as if we've got an Abramovich type owner bankrolling billions of pounds to spend on players like Mr Mourinho has. Assuming Wigan win the Championship, although a great achievement, a certain Dave Whelan would have contributed heavily to an already talented squad who missed out on the playoffs on the last day of last season. Peter Taylor is an ex-England manager (alright, only caretaker) but again he's had the fortune of playing in a new stadium plus the financial backing of Adam Pearson, in his quest for promotion with Hull City.

And Gary Johnson's an ex-international manager with vast experience of the lower leagues, although that should take nothing away from the job he's done at Yeovil. The only other contender in my mind would be Mike Newell at Luton, considering how well he's overcome all the off-field problems they suffered at the start of last season.

I don't know about the possibility of such an award, and whether there is such a thing, but Tilly would surely be in with a decent shout!

Same sentiments as everyone else but what’s great is that Brush gets the acknowledgement as well. They are a perfect team and if Tilly was ever to leave then i bet Brush would go with him as well.

Terry
they showed some dodgy footage of a 1970's german porno with Paul Brushes head dubbed on and Tilly was going down on him, then the interview was all about what Tilly thought about the 80's Poll Tax riots

all abit weird really

I'm going to cry worst possible news with only 6 games to go and a cup Final to boot. I have now employed several exorcists and have a house full of lucky heather, how could they do it to us.
