Rushden & Diamonds boss Ernie Tippett blasted his side after seeing their winless streak continue with a 3-0 defeat at Southend United.
Diamonds have not won a League game since 30th October and Tippett said: "We have no excuses. We deserved what we got - nothing.
"It was a very disappointing performance and I've given my criticism to every single player.
"You have to give credit to Southend for winning - but we were poor."
Rushden remain in trouble at the wrong end of League Two, and Tippett admits his options are limited.
"What you have to remember is that we have four or five youth team players in the first team squad at the moment - we are down to our bare bones.
"What is concerning is that I can't change the team.
"When I can only bring in youth team players I have to get on with that and that's what we are doing.
"I'm not criticising the youth team players because they are learning their trade, but what you can't do is learn your trade from performances like that."
