Hi Everyone,

I've been watching the Zone from afar for quite a few years now, and as a Southend fan for most of my life I've always enjoyed the banter, various opinions and often lively transfer rumours on the zone!

Anyway my first post is to introduce myself - my name is Adam Duffill, I've been a blues fan since I was 8 and spent most of my teenage years losing various girlfriends as a result of hopping onto the Shrimpers Trust coaches and travelling to places like Carlisle, Hartlepool, Grimsby etc instead of seeing them!

These days I'm a Singer/Songwriter who performs all over the UK & today, some 16 years on from my first ever game as a season ticket holder, I'll be back to perform a few tracks I've written for my debut album 'Torch To Light The Universe' 20 mins before kick off!

I know some of you will be in the pub (which is completely fair play!), however hopefully some of you will fancy making your way round to check it out & catch my set!

Anyway thanks for listening to my ramble - here's a few links of a few tracks I may well play today so you can have a cheeky look as to what's to come:

"Falling Like A Landslide" (Live At Circus Tavern): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viOYKBPYoTQ

"Take A Hold Of Me": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX2BYTaJeGs

Here's my YouTube channel for a few covers by bands that have influenced me: http://www.youtube.com/aduffillmusic

Enjoy the game, here's hoping for 3 points to get us up and running & UTB!!!

Welcome, welcome!

Interesting to see you were born in a blue shirt. I was born under the north bank shed.

I hope we all enjoy this afternoon!

Good to hear you're a shrimper, you need to do a cover of Moyet's 'Blue'.

So, you realise that "coming out" as both a Shrimper and a singer/songwriter commits you to writing an anthem for the North Bank to sing....?

Well done Adam! Great music, shame that the shower you had seemed to get in the electrics for the last song!

Hi mate,
Personally I really enjoyed the show, however you must have upset someone because they tried to electrocute you at the end there.

Are you a pacy forward........we still need one

Well done Adam. Joking aside, i've played with and against Duffers, and he's a decent player to be honest.

We've already got a drum, but if you pop into the North Bank with your guitar we could get some serious tunes going.

Thanks very much for the support guys! I had a great day (despite the soaking! :winking:). What a good result as well, a win at home, three points & a clean sheet... PB said I'm welcome back anytime!
