Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
Someone once said about Steve Bull, "people say he has a poor 1st touch, but he usually scores with his 2nd!"
dosent apply to Kendall im sorry to say.But perhaps if he reads this he might go away at seasons end and practice his control o first touch as hopefully many others will also.

Great striker with a better than 1 in 2 record, still involved on matchdays at Wolves and idolised by the fans, 561 appearances in all comps and 306 goals takes some beating!
He was also the one who walked back to the coach after the game and refused to sign autographs for the young lads waiting outside. Remember it well probably because Wolves lost a friendly.

Kendall will be another that flatters to deceive, he must learn control But then there are many whose control on first touch isnt very good .
Yes, they are 5th division footballers - so their game isn't going to be perfect.
If his first touch was a little better he might be in Div 2.
If his finishing was a little better he might be in Div 1.
If his awareness of others was better he might be in the Championship.
etc etc.

That's why you need players that are effective at this level, rather than being the finished product.

A name I hope we might be looking at is Dylan Kadji, if we have any midfield berths, next season. 21 year old midfielder at Weston-Super-Mare. 40 games 6 assists and three goals this season just gone. Fits that by young quality players, improve and sell on for a profit ethos.

Released by Bristol City end of 2023 after ten years there since going through their academy and made 4 appearances for them scoring on his debut.

I wouldn't have thought he would be a bank busting fee, but is being scouted by a couple of EFL clubs too. The last midfielder we got from Weston didn't play out too badly and obviously we have other positions to think about to, but.........
