ok, some basic stats:

~ 34952 have followed us away this season over 28 games, ie. an average of 1,248

~ ignoring the five cup games the aggregate reduces to 23,957 but the average is still over 1,000 at 1,041

~ there have been nine games where our following has topped 1,000 with a further four ocassions seeing us top over 900.

~ if our average home league attendance is say 8,500 (net of away visitors to Roots) then we are taking 12% of our fan base away.

~ the top away league attendance will be Southampton with 3,025 followed by 2,190 for Ip****e. Lowest was a grim night at Barnsley where just 250 suffered.

All in all not a bad effort me thinks, and maybe our best for many seasons if not ever - ideas on that anyone?

As above, taken the full ticket sale for Saints into account plus guessed the following at Preston to be 800 as do not have exact figure to hand.

Up the Blues

Up the Blues

Think we have sold 3,200 tickets for Southampton, so as far as I can tell or remember if everyone still turns up it will possibly be our highest recorded away support ever for a normal league match!!!

I think the official Preston figure was 788 so not to far out.

a travelling support at 1,248 average is very comendable..I've only missed a few away games and the atmosphere on the road has been nothing sort of brilliant.

There were a few quiet ones but I've read praise for opposing supporters on other msg boards saying we have one the best away followings in terms of noise and passion for their club in the league.

A very well done to everyone.
