I can't help but think that five or six airgun pellets would have been a more cost effective solution in these recession hit times.
 
Good job that wasn't in Essex, it would have been front page news in the Echo.
 
There is a clip from an old Man Alive programme on BBC2 in the early 70's which concentrated that week on Gypsy communities. The reporter asked the Gypsy if they really ate hedgehogs. When the Gypsy replied that they did the reporter asked "what do they taste like?", "oh, a bit like cat" came the reply.
