Just saw this challenge on fantasy football club on Sky were you have to score direct from a corner without
the ball bouncing with your left and then right foot. Today it was Spillane, Hurst and Lund although a bit supprised
who won !

Spillane 10
Hurst 21
Lund 27

Being a dead ball specialist and being able to create and score goals aren't relative.
Would have thought a dead ball specialist would chip in with a few goals & a decent corner or just a free kick on target would help, Spillane has been a let down so far, bit of a headless chicken when ive seen him play....................

Spillane has shown he can get the ball in the goal from corners? Wow he must be amazing, after all, the aim of a corner is to score direct from it right?

Spillane has just shown he has a better dead ball ability and he's not exactly been prolific in front of goal.

Spillane has shown he can score from a corner in fewer attempts than Hurst. I'd rather the person who was taking the corner try and get it onto the head of a one of our players than try and score direct.

Dur, the idea was to score direct from it. Its the ability to put the football where it needs to be, either direct into the goal or onto someones head.

Those two are different things though. With scoring direct you KNOW where to put the ball, but when you are taking a corner or freekick and trying to set up another player it is about judging where to put the ball.

does anyone else think that taking 27 attempts is a poor showing from a professional footballer? I'd be disappointed if it took me that many attempts!!!
