Immigration is fine so long as you have requirements for entry, most immigrants want to be here and are nice people who don't view Western people as the enemy. The reason our immigration policies have led to conflict is because we just let anyone in and let certain groups form their own communities that are cut off from the rest of the UK. Immigration only works if the immigrants have to integrate with English residents otherwise you just end up with mini countries forming inside our country which inevitably leads to conflict.
