The most amazing guy I've ever met, bar none. He was possessed of a magnetism quite unlike anything I've ever experienced before. You couldn't take your eyes off him.
What a guy! And to think we went to the same university (which was why he was there, giving a sermon in the Chapel). What a guy!

Very jealous, he was always one of those who I hoped would 'pop' in to Cambridge while I was there (he had an honorary degree from my faculty) but it never happened!
