I've worked out the travel distance from Roots Hall to each of our opponents next season based on whether we'd be in League One or Two.

League Two Distances in miles
Leyton Orient 35.5
Barnet 48.6
Wycombe 82.8
Northampton 100.8
Peterbro 105.7
Rushden 108.1
Oxford Utd 108.4
Boston 142.6
Cheltenham 146.5
Notts County 154.6
Mansfield 169.2
Brizzle Rovers 174.1
Shrewsbury 192.5
Grimsby 201.5
Macclesfield 208.4
Chester 228.7
Wrexham 229.3
Stockport 232
Torquay 243.4
Rochdale 244.4
Bury 244.7
Darlington 264.2
Carlisle 324.5

League One
Col Ewe 41.2
Gillingham 43.9
Brentford 59.1
MK Dons 87.7
Swindon 137.2
Notts Forest 154.1
Bournemouth 155.7
Walsall 156.9
Bristol City 177
Chesterfield 182.2
Yeovil 183.9
Doncaster 187.2
Scunthorpe 192.2
Port Vale 195.7
Rotherham 196.3
Barnsley 198.7
Bradford 225
Huddersfield 226.4
Oldham 243.5
Swansea 243.8
Tranmere 248.5
Blackpool 272.7
Hartlepool 276.2

So the total amount of miles in league two is 3990.5 and for League One it is..........4085.1 (or 4010 if Sheff Wed don't win today as they are 201 miles away)

Analysing it a bit more we now have 3 games that are within 60 miles of Roots Hall. 12 of our away visits in L1 are in the 100-200 mile range compared to 9 in L2.

The average trip distance is 174.34miles in L1 or 173.5 in L2.

The total mileage may be longer but I'd rather go to Notts Forest, Bradford and Barnsley than Macclesfield, Chester or Boston!!!
