Game was really good!
Lots of chances for Southend, and it all started to happen when Fredy came on.
A nice ball from Eastwood to set up Bentley for a well taken goal.
And Gower set up the goal for a nice Eastwood strike. Fredy had so much time on the ball to turn and strike from just inside the area to send the 7300+ at Roots Hall in to raptures!
Throuroghly enjoyable game in all.
My man of the match, Carl Pettefer (ran his socks off and worked so hard).
UP THE BLUES!!!

They hardly came here with the intention to attack though IMO.
Still, a fine win which makes the league table very readable. Thought Pettefer was man of the match, outstanding work-rate and everything went through him. Hunt also had a good game.
