I've had the same issue when leaving concerts. Personally I think you're not getting out of Wembley quick regardless of the way you travel. Best to get a post match drink or bite to eat and let it all die down otherwise like you say, it'll easily take an hour.
 
I used a garage forecourt that sold car parking. It was about a 10 minute walk from the stadium.
Easy to get in and out. The parking was on a trading estate, can’t remember the booking contact tho’, if I remember I will post it.
 
Oldham have the Pink car park (East side of stadium) and we've got the Red car park (West side) - wonder if that is a good indicator for which end we'll be allocated

Doesn't look like it: Sheffield United have got the east side and the red car park

Edit: actually as Charlton have the west side of Wembley and the pink car park, and likewise for Wimbledon. Guess if that holds for us, we'll have the east side of Wembley.

Wembley parking is expensive. Whenever I go to Wembley I use the JustPark app, where I can park on a private driveway. Been using it for years.

Just paid £16 for all day parking for the final in my usual space. It's about a mile from the stadium and easy escape after.
 
When we played Tottenham in the FA Cup at Wembley in we parked at this school, i cant remember exactly how much they charged but it wasnt much, its about a 20-25 min walk from the stadium , this was 7 years ago though so i dont know if they still do it but it might be an option :).

Booked a driveway space after the Rochdale game. £14. 11 mins from stadium. Sorted. I am not banking on it necessarily being quicker to get away from the immediate Wembley area. It wasn't after the Wycombe game.

Great shout. Just booked this up, was a smidge under £30 but you've got the added bonus of security gates and CCTV etc. 👍🏻 thanks for the suggestion.
