Wembley tickets

With regard to the people trying for further tickets at tomorrow's negotiations meeting.
I do hope they strongly emphasise the point that Twickenham handles 82,000 people with just one station open and also the London Stadium handles 58,000 plus thousands of shoppers at the same time with just Stratford station available. So why on earth can't Wembley handle an attendance two thirds full with TWO stations operating. It is beyond belief that those in charge of this complete shambles lack basic common sense.
They can they just don’t want to and don’t care about us. Simples.

I'm guessing it's because those 2 stadiums have had years to manage crowds using those stations. There is space to manage that amount of crowds, and Wembley Way to used to manage crowds leading up to Wembley Park station. Wembley Central / Wembley Stadium has one bridge to it, with not much space.

The other issue is segregation between fans, which police will probably want a plan in place, whereas Twickenham doesn't require this...

Twickenham is horrific to get the trains back to Waterloo though.

I mostly agree. Certainly Stratford station is huge and spacious. However I don't think segregation is too much of an issue, especially after what I saw today. All the Wimbledon and Walsall fans were taking every route possible and coming at us from every direction with zero segregation. The atmosphere was fantastic too.

I've never been to a match at Twickenham (wrong shaped ball and just seems to be 80 minutes of men running into each other), but I did attend a Rolling Stones gig there and I remember the dreadful time trying to get back into London afterwards.

Evening Shrimpers! Hope you’re all getting sorted with tickets?

Not sure how many we’ve sold, 20k at best I suspect and sales now almost stopped so don’t think we’ll add that many more so looks like the 21500 was enough for us..the good news is that hopefully means they can allocated more tickets to you tomorrow so nobody misses out.

Hopefully we can then start to focus on the blood game!

All the best and hope you all get sorted

Wembley has had crowd control in place for years though, when you come out of England games, finals, concerts it's very organised! Might be slow but at least it's done safely
