Wembley tickets

Im getting a horrible feeling about this. Ive already forked out 40 quid for the car park, without even knowing whether im going to get one ticket yet let alone the half dozen the family seem to be adding to each hour. The bloody cat will get in on it next if im not careful. I haven't even thought about how we're all going to sit together or what bloody colour balloons to buy. :Frustrated:

This is because of the closure of Wembley Park station.
Embarrassing. TFL should sort their **** out and postpone the works.
Engineering works, especially across four tracks as in this case, are a major logistical coordination challenge and would have had to be planned several months ago. I think you should be blaming the FA / Wembley and National League for (more recently) selecting a Final Date with inadequate liaison.

It only became a significant event when we and Oldham got through to the final.
Exactly, the last few years haven't really seen 2 clubs with big support, possibly notts county and Chesterfield but I think that was around 38k which is 17.5 each. Id imagine Wembley are never expecting a bigger crowd than that, which is poor from them, however I can't see Wembley selling out, possibly 25-30k max each club

In the end you sell the tickets as normal and fans have to work around it. That is less embarrassing than a combination of the league, FA and TFL resulting in nearly half of fans from both clubs having a Wembley final taken away from them.

Of course TFL will take the brunt of the flack. Unfair maybe but tough. The final was that day and months ago they would have known that a couple of the bigger clubs might well end up there.

I'm similar. Just hope I and the grandsons can get tickets or I'll have a car park space for sale!

Wasn't making reference to our fantastic support.

More of a case that NFL/Wembley don't expect as much support from a National League final versus a League 2 final.
Understand- I thought you were wondering if we would exceed 2015 final numbers as we were in L2 then- I was pointing out attendances are now 20% higher so probably.

More generally they should have easily been able to imagine two out of Southend, Oldham and York being in the final given the stupidity of only one automatic place. Truly football is run by simpletons…

Pretty sure anyone that wants a ticket will get one.

There's a lot going on, including discussions surrounding the TfL works and whether that could be perhaps suspended/part suspended. Are there workarounds, can C2C help. Are the Police and emergency services happy, are the clubs happy, the NL, FA etc etc. It's endless. That's without the ticketing arrangements, do Wembley handle it, do the clubs handle it and loads of other stuff.

Lots of moving parts, lots of people involved, not helped by the TfL works.

We just have to be patient and await the correct official info.

Posting chinese whispers on here wont help the situation and create a bit of unnecessary panic.
