Wembley tickets - more to be made available 7:30pm Thursday

No one has mentioned it yet as it’s secondary, but this is costing the club a small fortune
10,000* 35=£350,000 divided between the two teams after expenses. Must be north of £100,000.
That’s another player for next season
I expect the club will be mentioning it a lot and in the strongest terms at the right time to the right people.

Like many, I’d still like to see some accountability for what appears to be an appallingly executed decision. As you say, clear and obvious financial implications here.

The National League were very very quick to throw financial penalties in our direction.

I went to Wembley today to watch Orient v Charlton, and done a reccy to Wembley Central station for the trial run for next week.
If we win , stay in the pubs for an hour or two after the game because there is a small causeway to walk over followed by a very small narrow platform, which with a lot of fans could get very congested. It did with Orient fans, with one steward trying to sort it. It is signposted very clear though, but the exit was closed.

Talking of Orient fans I was really disappointed to see a mass exodus of 2/3 rds of their fans leave at the final whistle without applauding their team, which has given them a good season and a trip to Wembley.

Next week I hope all or most Shrimpers will stay behind to clap the boys , Kev Darren And Benno for a great season whether we win or lose

If safety and travel are the issue, could they not stagger fans leavings to avoid overloading platforms etc?

I'm probably looking at the problem to simply but I'd happily wait 30 mins, an hour, whatever for crowds to clear.
I suggested a similar idea earlier in this thread: fans of the winning team held back in the stadium for 30 minutes to celebrate with their team. Most fans of the losing team (hopefully not us!) will normally want to get away as soon as possible and will clear rapidly from the area of the stadium to start their miserable journey home.

Apologies if it's been posted already....looked back a lot through this thread....but did everyone who queued at the ground today get the tickets they wanted? It would have been a nightmare if after shuffling forward slowly for 3 hours to be told sorry none left.

I don't think they did. Believe there were still people in the queue but not sure how many (or how many tickets they wanted)
