Following the collapse of XL, Wet Spams shirt sponsors, they have arranged a new sponsorship arrangement with a leading dog food company. But this arrangement has been banned under the trade descriptions act, as West Ham could never wear anything that says WINALOT.:)

I dunno, a West Ham replica shirt with a single X before the L was pretty unrealistic yet they went ahead with them.

in all seriousness I heard Bobby Moores cancer charity was wanted on there by fans following the lead of Barcelona and now Villa putting charities on there. However the West Ham board wanted a financial backed sponsor on the shirt.

No suprise there! £30 Million lost to Sheffield United and the money they lost from the XL sposorship deal. They want to recoup some of their lost monies.
