'Spoken Verse and Spinning Discs' (part one)

This is the first hour of a show that was originally broadcast live on Coast FM and features the poetry of our special guest, Tyrone M. Warren, from his book ‘The Departure Lounge’. Tyrone coalesced his readings with music that resonated with his poems, ‘The Sand Is Their Sea’, ‘Blue Globules’ and ‘The Spark’.

Tyrone played tracks by Vangelis, Primal Scream and The Art Of Noise.

We also played tracks by Sinead O’ Connor, Thin Lizzy, the Velvet Underground, Alice Cooper and Mud (on the occasion of Les Gray’s birthday).
