Question What Was The Meeting With The Football League About??

The Liaison Meeting today was cancelled as Geoffrey King had to attend a Football League Meeting in Milton Keynes at relatively short notice.

Mr King has spoken to both Paul FitzGerald (Trust Chair) & Paul Yeomanson (Trust Liaison Officer) regarding certain matters.

The Trust will be issuing a Statement very shortly, and are in the process of rescheduling the meeting.

I have a terrible feeling that the Football League may take this entire issue out of our hands by demanding guarantees (which it does not look like we can supply) that we will be in a position to fulfill our fixtures this season which may be a reason for summoning GK to their offices.

I really fear that expulsion from the League is looking likely as not only is RM bringing our name in to disrepute, he is also bringing the name of the Football League in to disrepute.

If you made the decisions at the FL would you expell before the season began or during the season?

God help us!!

Think it was just a standard meeting of Football League chairmen rather than just us. Guess King Geoff attended because of Ron's knee-op.

Not sure it would have been as GK mentions he had to attend a Football League Meeting in Milton Keynes at relatively short notice. These meetings are scheduled well in advance and they have only just all had their AGM in Malta
