World Cup kits

The Honduras one is great. France and Italy less so.

Whisper it quietly but I like the Argies one too - the dark piping works well.

Bosnia, Belgium and Iran representing the smaller makers - Legea, Burrda and uhlsport.

I guess England's one won't look too dissimilar to Portgual away with a little collar.

I'd prefer Greece away than Aussie away for SUFC

I refuse to believe that's the England one; looks like a cheap training shirt. Nike will give the likes of Southend any old crud, but a first World Cup shirt for England, that's a different matter.

I like the Argentina shirt, but white shorts as opposed to black is just wrong.

Good call re Greece for us, although I'm keen we stick to navy blue (a bit like France I guess)

I don't like the England shirt, and surely it'll change. However I like the idea of it being loose and not fussy. Give it a wide open neck because it's going to be boiling and a tight collar is just stupid.

I want us (Southend) to move back to a royal blue colour, but seems like we've committed to navy in recent years.

Indeed, that surely cant be our home kit, its terrible.

From what I can gather, that kit is a 'leak' from some Uruguayan newspaper. Anyhow, we'll find out for real next Monday, albeit the senior men's team won't actually wear it until May 30th.

I like the colours but not the collars. Not really a fan of football kits which look like polo shirts.

I prefer them myself.

The only England shirt I ever bought was the South Africa one, because you can wear it out and doesn't feel like a football shirt.

Saying that it was made of poor material as it seems to have shrunk. Just around the midrift as well. Ahem.

That was my favourite ever one. Notable how a lot of people thought it was just a 'leisure' shirt though.

I'm likely to buy the new one for my son, while I'll be rocking this one for the third World Cup running...

Ah 1982.

I (as part of a bunch of kids, not a solo effort) recorded a World Cup single for that one, might have to dig it out of the loft. Very rare, only sold about 70 copies to the parents of the kids on the record. Got a Blue Peter badge out of it, but Jimmy Saville chose not to have us on Jim'll Fix it. Shame that.

That England shirt looks like something you'd find in the sale bin at Sports Direct for £2.50.

Few other thoughts:

Love the French and Greek kits, Mexico's kit was obviously designed by someone receiving electric shock therapy and Cameroon and Ghana's during a night time power cut, by the same person at the same time.

Depressingly all the ones I like, I shouldn't

Argentina & France home, Australia and Germany away. I actually like the Mexico one too.

I like the Mexico kits too, but not a fan of the dark pipings on the Argentina kit. It's supposed to be Argentina not Adidas.

What's up with the different collars on France home and away?

I also like Belgium away but not the German kits.
