Thought the sound particularly and even the pictures were much beter than on the NL stream.

Suppose you could argue that Victoria Polly isn't biased enough. :Winking: (She certainly doen't sound like an Essex girl!)

I've written a lot about Beau over the years. Local lad who went to Eastwood School. Very talented cross-country runner. He was Borough Sports champion 10 years running and among the best in the country for his age-group. - Chris Phillips

Will need to double check the stats later but Beau MacDonald will be one of the youngest Blues' players ever in the first team. He turned 16 in July. -CP
I think Femi Orenuga is still our youngest. He was 15 when he came on before being sold to Everton. I’m fairly sure Moussa made his debut as a 16 year old too? Can’t think of any others off the top of my head

What a moment for 16-year-old Beau MacDonald
🙌

May be an image of american football, football and text that says solopres

Watching on 247, commentary is dreadful - can you change it to BBC Essex?

Yeovil are a poor side, how we are losing I just don’t know. Worry that we’ll run out of steam in the 2nd. Now playing with a kid who only turned 16 in July !
Really don’t know what you’ve got against the commentary team. Good command of the players’ names and a completely fair description of the match. As they’re commentating for BBC Somerset you can’t expect them to be pro Southend. I suggest you’re annoyed because it’s a female commentator

Beau done some personal pre season training with Sandat abroad and seems to be working hard at his game - can’t question his fitness as he is used by pro boxers to improve their sprint times and stamina, seen him play a few years back in grass roots games and looked good

Football is amazing at times. There is 20 goals between Cards and Murphy and neither of them have had a sniff. I'd say Murph had the better half, held the ball up well on a couple of occasions and played a lovely pass to their player that should have made it 2-0.

Bittersweet seeing Murphy play as I feel he is a really good player at this level and we never got to see it enough. Really don't begrudge him doing well this season. Injuries are one of those things and maybe if our medical department had a bit of money pumped into it, he may have stayed fitter for longer, who knows.
