They finished in the play offs 2 seasons ago and top half last season.

Not really a struggling side.

If it's £750k up front plus a 20%ish sell-on then we should accept rather than risk tribunal. If that doesn't include sell-on then we need to reject it as that's what will probably make us the most money in the long run. There aren't many good English goalkeepers about nowadays and Dan could be worth a tidy wedge in a few seasons time if he progresses.

Id be happy to get 750k for him and I think a sell on will be standard.

The problem with a sell on is what happens if he sees out his contract and leaves his new club, whoever that is, for nothing? Number of appearances etc would be more sensible.
