Yessss!

Well done lads! our long awaited return to Division One has finally arrived.

:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :happy::happy::Worthy::Worthy: :cheers:

Fantastic.

Division 1 here we come!!!!!

Well played Napier, Porter, Westley, RtD, Browne, Bops and the others who made this happen.

Not just promoted but Champions as well. And with a game and a half to spare.

A big well done to Chris Silverwood and Ronnie Irani. Just goes to show what a change in management can do....

Think big thanks to Chris Silverwood
Been a great season to watch highs and lows especially one day games , but bring on Middlesex and Surrey next season

Sorry Kent enjoy our last game as the result doesn't matter:happy:

WE ARE UP:happy:

Many congratulations to Essex CCC. As with 20/20 games they've successfully got the result before the 'final over.' Now all we've got to do is assemble an aditional squad of players who are capable of staying up next season. Essential to bring in a spinner and improve our technique against spin bowling..............we've been rather naive in that respect. this season.

Be interesting to see who Essex keep on from the current squad. Napier, Masters, Moore, Ryder all going (Ryder already gone) Would be surprised if Jaik Mickleburgh was about next year after another lean season and the county signing Chopra back to play. Adam Wheater will probably join for next year as well but it's bowlers we'll be after.

229-9 now :sad:

Can Masters carry us over the line with another 35 runs needed.
