Keeper - Sorted

Defence - Sorted

Midfield -

Laird - Hopefully just a matter of agreeing terms for him to stay

Mkandawire - Would love him to stay as he has been immense in our run. I suspect Millwall are paying his wages while he gets match fit & as he is so highly rated by them I expect he will return after the Gills game, still hopeful though. Essential we get a like for like player in if he does go.

Donnelly - Hasn't had many opportunities being cup tied & the team in such good form, but I would only expect him to stay if he's very cheap, but doubt he will be kept on if the rumblings about Holmes joining come true.

Spicer - Would like to see him shipped out on loan for the remainder of his contract.

Forwards:-

We have Britt, Tomlin, Corr, Eastwood & hopefully soon a returning Harris. As with Spicer lets find a club for Benyon for the rest of his contract. When they cant even make the bench when PS only names 6 subs, they have no future here imo.

Regarding Donnelly, I hope we do keep him until the end of the season. I'm assuming he is must be cheap and I just think he has got a touch of class about him because in the warm ups I can see he has a very could touch and the shooting and passing is very good (albeit in the warm up). it must just be game time he needs, so I think we might as well keep him until the end of the season so it gives us a chance to actually look at him ( especially with the possibility of tam going back to millwall after tomorrows game)

When do the loans actually end, is it midnight tomorrow?

That leaves us very little time to get Laird and Tamika on board (again) before the big FA Cup match Saturday. On the subject of loanees and the FA Cup, I assume that Britt will now be granted permission to play, if fit of course.

Yes , loans end at midnight tomorrow

Pretty sure someone asked CP that question earlier and he said that Britt would be able to play in the FA Cup on Saturday if he's fit.

@CJPhillips1982: Sturrock: "There is an area of our team where it is obvious we have to improve. When I signed someone you will find out where."

Benyon & Spicer havn't even made the bench for the last 2 games with PS only naming 6 subs, I'm wondering if he's done deals to loan them out for the rest of the season & ensuring they dont get injured.

Would be nice if we got shot of their wages to use on some decent loans, CM & LB, definitely do not need a keeper.

A midfielder to replace Tamika and a keeper if I was the gaffer.

I think we are fine in the centre of the park with Donnelly doing quite well when he came on. Also, we still have Woodyard waiting. I think we need another winger who can create some more chances down the left, I think Hurst and Clohessy have 21 assists combined whereas Timlin and Barker only have 6

I know very little about Donnelly. Can someone describe his style who's seen him a few times.

Very neat and tidy, good range of passing. Always been impressed when we have played against him. Was here most of the summer just couldn't sign due to the embargo. Would be happy to lose tam and sign donelly and hopefully laird. Laird would be a bigger loss than tam in my opinion. Donelly is more of a playmaker and something we lack at the mo.

we will have to play donnelly as we can not get any more players in due to being skint, hence the appearence yesterday and dont be surprised to see him start on saturday, hope he comes in and smashes it
