I thought she did well under the "Paxo" treatment from Andrew Neil.
She rather lost her cool. "in the real world where I live" was an excruciating line.

God help us then as it's looking increasingly like the voting public will be making Labour the biggest party.that awful interview just reiterates the fact that Labour have no clue about how to reduce the deficit except socialist taxes on the rich which will bring in small change. Say what you like about the Tories but at least they have a credible plan.
Also why are Labour making such a big deal about zero-hour contracts? They are a tiny percentage of jobs and according to a recent survey most people on them are quite happy with them.
God help us if this bunch of goons get into power.
What does this mean? Do you mean that Barna is offline so you have won the argument? As my old gran used to say, silence was the stern reply. As per usual.

Lucy P's position in the shadow cabinet is what? Exactly, I doubt her good or bad performance on the rarely viewed Andrew Neil fronted show will wipe away a 4 point lead that was created after Milliband and Cameron were quizzed on the same show (but at Cameron's insistance there was no debate between them). Jumping on an interview by Labour MP of little celebrity smacks of the panic which the right are justified in feeling - panic, it's going to happen because 5 years of Cameron is more than enough.

Are you talking about Cameron or Barna? He does that all the time. It amazes me how he could easily get away with it over and over.
Yeah I know, I was just reacting to the standard 'if these goons get into power' over dramatic posts that a couple of people seem over keen on posting. The polls have been neck and neck for a while and I think the 4% lead is the biggest lead that has been registered so far and as it has come after the first major TV appearance of the two leaders it feels more significant. Labour are also tending to be doing well in the marginals where elections are won and lost and tend to have a lot more activists out on the streets getting their point across. Politics is like football - confidence plays a big part and Labour have a spring in their step. One poll. One poll.
I'd be inclined to see a few more polls (ComRes tonight will be interesting) that also give Labour a lead before thinking they're going to win the most seats. The betting still has the Conservatives at around 1/2 - 66% - to be the leading party come May 8th.

The 4% was front page of the Times so they are taking it seriously...

I actually contacted the central party earlier today to register my disapproval - I guess we are on the same wavelength after all!How many of these have you bought AAS?

That poll was conducted by the Daily Mail though and they always have a negative slant on everything!Tonight's poll has the Conservatives on 36% and Labour on 32%.
So perhaps a spring back in the step of the Conservatives....
