Released by Stevenage, alongside Jamal Campbell-Ryce.

Whilst he was a great player for us at the time and for sure we missed the kind of Dynamo he was in midfield this year, there must be a reason Stevenage are letting him go.

Time to move forward IMO and having Tims back is just going backwards.

Have to agree with you there John.

I ****ing love Timlin he’s one of my favourite players of all time. But I wouldn’t want him to come back and tarnish that by being over the hill and **** (not saying he would be).

Would have him back as a coach if he did go into coaching, he would be great for the dressing room and touchline.

Not sure a move back here would be in the interests of anyone at this stage of his career, can see him staying in league two with orient signing him.

Yeah, 'cos they have a ******* manager who he doesn't get on with. Highly likely Tims has told him a thing or two.

Get him back now!

He might be just the man for running one of the development squads if there are some internal moves happening when we get a new manager. I got the impression he trained very well and certainly always did the distances in games.

I'd imagine he'd be a good guy to have around in future years in a coaching capacity. A future manager even? But not a player now.

His 'communication' skills are the reason he was released by us. You wont be seeing MT back here anytime soon. Even as a youth coach.

It was a huge mistake to release him and my god how he was missed. This seasons midfield was the most ineffective I can remember. However, I wouldn’t have thought he’ll be resigned.
Firmly in my top 10 of all time blues players.

BBC Essex said Timlin was at Saturday's game, watching from the Directors Box, he is available apparently.

Really liked him when we had him but I think we need a more creative midfielder. Also Stevenage released him so if a league 2 club did that maybe league 1 is a bit much for him these days
