Barry Murphy would be a good shout did well at Rochdaleyea I'd be disappointed if that is indeed the final list.
Probably end up with Currie after all and that would be a bit of a downer after @StanleyVictorCollymore bringing a fresh look on this and end up with a manager Ron chased in the summer anyways.
Hopefully its just a rumour and we have some more exciting names.
Smith: Would be ok and mostly fit the remit
Coughlan: God no
Maher: Heart says maybe, head says no. Got no experience as a manager really
Currie: As said above, would be slightly flat to go back to him now
Who is A.N.Other? Keates? Barry-Murphy? Betsy?
Not sure what Tilly has done to get turned down if Coughlan and Maher apparently made it. Thats a poke in the eye.
Not too sure. They haven't crossed paths apart from a brief spell together here at SUFC in 2002. BBM was on loan while Beard was in his 2nd spell as a Shrimper.Barry-Murphy and Beard as Assistant anyone?
(Allow for 2+2 = 5 please lol)
Maybe it is not a downer. Just because RM considered Darren Currie in the past it does not mean he would not do a good job. In fact, you can look it the other way round. SC has professionalised the job application process and made it much more competitive than before by expanding the field. If Currie emerges as the best candidate through that process, we can be reassured he is not being appointed on a hunch from the Chairman and that he stacked up well against the competition.yea I'd be disappointed if that is indeed the final list.

Couldn't have put that any better!Maybe it is not a downer. Just because RM considered Darren Currie in the past it does not mean he would not do a good job. I think Steve Bruce May be looking for a new job ??It's probably going to be the 'one other' that we haven't even thought of !
