About three quarters of the South Lower sold to schools for tomorrows game. That should mean a 6,000+ gate, pity it will probably be back to the usual 5,300 the following week against Morecambe.

Not if a few hundred keep coming back and nagging mum or dad to take them. They are the lifeblood for the future.

Not many have been tempted to come back for the Morecambe match as advance ticket sales look very poor at the moment.

I know quite a few people leave it late or just pay on the day but we are possibly going to have our lowest crowd of the season so far. (current lowest 5,315 v Oxford)

Morecombe play awful football too, may put off a few fair weather fans.

Fairweather fans probably wont know that, I certainly didnt. All I know is we rarely beat them, thats awful enough.

That's the problem with people who come along on a deal, they actually aren't that likely to go to two games in a week, even if they had a good time. They may be tempted to come again but for a family who never goes to games to suddenly go to two in a row is pretty unlikely.

It does put us on their radar though so hopefully some will go again, and others will come at other points in the season.
