Would have impressed more, if he had the nous to set up Coxy and we got the 3 points.

Was his problems at his old clubs, reading their forums. Head down not passing, not looking for other players. Ranger looks to be carrying a secret injury...been off the pace a while.

The game is littered with players of his type.

Pacey, but no great end product.

Hoping he improves, as he has some assets and hopefully he'll become a key team player.

Even at his age he can change, it's just school boy stuff he need, look up, look up....pass... always trying to do it on his own...

Picking up on what has been said on other threads, the next three games are all at home. Time to ensure that we get maximum return from these games. Yes, of course they will all be tough but we must cash in on the home games if we have serious play off ambitions. If just three of our home draws had been wins we would have another 6 points and well cemented in a play off position.

The other side of the coin with these three consecutive home matches is that we will have an imbalance of home and away fixtures thereafter. Unless the away game at Peterborough is rearranged meanwhile, we will have just seven home matches remaining after the Bolton game. And eleven away fixtures!

PB recently said we need home wins if we are to do anything this season. Too right. Let's get nine out of nine points and in the process slow Rochdale's progress. COYB

Our home form is up there with the best in the division.

We've only lost two league games at home and both were in August.

If you count the Oxford check-a-trade as a draw, then we haven't lost at home in any competition, since the Fleetwood match in August.

Indeed and I've got a wager with 'Ironside' that Cox will total 30 assists/goals this season!

Home ticket sales picking up a bit at 5,312 so probably upto about 5,800 including the other areas.
Sheffield United have sold 1,326 so far.

Should be an exciting fixture, heading there with my dad. COYB:loyalsupporter::loyalsupporter:

Yes Fortune didn't train but he was out on the grass for while so should make the squad. The good news is Ranger was training for the full duration.

Ox will be a no and Coker possibly Rochdale but not this week.

Apparently McG has been finishing nicely in Training so maybe a good outside bet as 1st scorer, even from the bench.

With Ted's performances of late, we're not in a position to rush Ox back and risk further damage, same with Coker. Obviously Timlin is a square peg in a round hole but he's done a steady and solid job so let these boys get themselves 100% fit before bringing them back in

Yes both have been excellent and it shows we do have good strength in the squad.

The article in the Echo about Lee Harrison is a must read for any Shrimper. The thing that has really caught my eye about young Ted is his calmness, which is a great quality for any young keeper. His last 3 games are worth more than a season in the National league.

Timlin has had several setbacks over the last 15 months and it has been great to see him take out his frustrations on the oppositions right wingers. If you were playing for Sheffield U at right mid on Saturday, who would you prefer to be up against Timlin or Coker.

Has anyone seen Bex play? Is he one for the future?

Im guessing you mean youth keeper Josh Bexon? If so Im sure his capable in his own right. But I do not think he is next in the 'Conveyor belt' so to speak. Basically not expected to live up too Dan B and Ted Smiths levels.

But who knows, football is a funny old game.

.............................................SMITH......................................
DEMETRIOU............THOMPSON...............FERDINAND.........TIMLIN
ATKINSON.............LEONARD...............WORDSWORTH.......HINES
...........................RANGER................COX..............................

FORTUNE , McGLASHAN, BRIDGE, COKER, WHITE, O'NEILL , BEXON

Let Ranger rip Sheff Utd apart like he did at Bramhall Lane alongside Coxy ,as Fortune deserves a well earnt rest!
Lets see what Zavon has got - adrenalin should carry him through 60 mins then give McGlashan / Bridge a run left wing.
(Or Coker if we are winning )

Massive game , we all need to get right behind the Blues from the off + lets topple the table toppers ! UTB !!!!!!!!
