With his first start for the club expected to be tomorrow vs. York, here’s my scout report on how new signing Adam Crowther may fit into Southend United’s system:

Adam Crowther although a centre back scored a number of goals for King's Lynn. Worth a bet as any time goalscorer 11/2 with Bet365.

Seat sales are now up to 5504, so assuming the game doesn't get postponed because of the wet stuff, then a gate in excess of 6k looks likely again. Included in that total us 176 from York, so pay on the day, they will probably have around 200?

Be alright if we get this ref/pitch inspection at Saffron Walden during the week...

Let’s have it . Think Sandat will benefit in that 10 . Is very intelligent and I think he has it in him to thread them balls through as well as arriving in the box from crosses out wide

Looking forward to seeing Waldron start (hopefully). Sandat in the 10 role? We do in my opinion need a goalscoring attacking midfielder in the Jack Payne mould- not sure Sandat is it. Wood is a natural for that position.

Will be interesting to see how the forwards are rotated now we have at least 4 vying for a start. Understand trying to get Sandat in. Since his loan was extended very little game time...

The way we play with the high press, and the number of games coming up, I would have thought we would be rotating and giving starters 60/70 mins to keep things fresh

Looking forward to this game. We need a decisive win whilst at the same time showing our appreciation to York City's chairman and fans for their support when we desperately needed it.

COYB!!!

Definitely on then? Looking forward to listening (and getting a brief snippet of the day to myself)
