I did read that story, sounds outrageous. Then I thought surely that makes them even more of a deterrent. Who's going to launch nuclear missiles that might land in your own country.

I thought it was supposed to deter others from attacking us rather than deter us from using them as we have no idea where they will land.

Trident that doesn't work and Trump looking to disband NATO. Even national security is at risk now.

He inherited his money and would be worth more if he had just left it in a post office savings account rather than some of his poor investments. So I suppose he can be mad, foolhardy and plain stupid as well.

it kind of isnt going to with being built. Mexicans being in the US illegally are nearly all people who have overstayed their visa, so wall or no wall they would be there anyway. The wall is just very expensive symbolism.
If he bans Mexicans entry to the US after building a wall that's a different matter, but the economic damage that would be caused from the fallout of that would massively impact on both countries.
