Question What is making you happy today?

Genuinely fun and entertaining birthday meal out with the kids. Tears of laughter at times, decent grub and a couple of beers for Daddy too. Happy birthday John, Bethany and Will Atkinson!

Blimey it's like a shot a puppy.

No! YOU SHOT A PUPPY AND RUINED A CRUMBLE! Shame on YOU!!!

In recompense you have to prepare an essay on MK Dons, strengths and weaknesses, no less than 500 words by next Friday or .............................

Lovely "grown ups only" dinner at mum and dad's last night, I say grown ups as neither of my kids were with us, was a bit odd! Dad, as usual, cooked a perfect roast dinner, with excellent crackling and mum made her renowned lemon meringue pie. Played Rummikub after dinner and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Strengths - Cows. Concrete.
Weaknesses - Concrete cows.

My new Fujifilm X-T2 camera. I thought I might struggle switching from full frame Canon, but I don't think I'm going to be looking back.

My foray to Halfords showed that I had a wonky back wheel and a bald tyre that is now also sorted along with a once flat inner tube. £44 poorer however.

Bramley Apple crumble complete with real custard made an appearance in the Roots household tonight. Seriously good, and obviously enhanced with custard MK!
