Question What is making you happy today?

Good luck with the new job, what is it you do?

I'm one of the 10% left in the UK working in the Manufacturing Industry. Been in this for 43 years (Printing, Construction), and 58 in a few days time. Although my new role is with a company in a different market. Who says life finishes at 50!.
One of a few industry's left where experience & knowledge still counts over your age?.

Just accidentally lent on the horn while stuck in the Blackfriars underpass and everyone else joined in.
I think this happens alot there, coming home one afternoon we were stuck and someone started the football one,
(the one that ends with Southend) very amusing when you get the guy with a feeble horn join in for the last bit.

I've just renewed my road tax on line. With the hard copy reminder form I was sent it could not have been easier. Often Gov't IT is too fussy, this was a breeze. I could even have set up D/D to pay electronically.

Nintendo marathon raising money for Mind kicked off last night and raised 2 grand in one night - twitch.tv/hellfirecomms from 7 if you're interested. And, for the first Monday in recent memory, I don't have to cook tonight! Huzzah!

Arrangements moving on nicely with a view to getting Wreckless Eric play just down the road from Fort Nox before the end of the year. >

Every morning since the school holidays started I have come downstairs in the morning to find my 7 years old son in the lounge watching TV. Every morning he has been watching the same thing: the play off final!

rather enjoyed giving my nephew (rat boy) £50 so he could get the new SUFC top as a birthday present before the first game of the season.

Off up North for a long weekend with Mrs G and Lucy the Airedale woofs; a few days walking the Yorkshire dales AND a few hours at Highbury Stadium.
