Yeah don't fancy Rochdale at all, would be no TV money and a hard tie to win.

Yes and unfortunately there are quite a few dud ties we could still get...I think I counted there will be 6 prem sides out for definite after this round.

Just as a note, unfortunately the 4th round clashes with Northampton away so that will probably become a midweek game. We should still take a fair amount their though I would imagine.

What a game that was! Trautman's save from Hollis still stands in my memory as just breathtaking. Those of us that were there will remember that it had rained for days before and the pitch had been dug up in channels to lay new drainage so that the match could be played. What a difference to yesterday's playing surface. Despite a week of rain and it pouring throughout the match the pitch held up well.

Man City went on to win the cup with Trautman breaking his neck in the final. I'd love to see them back here next round.
Would be good... but can't see Bert Trautman playing this time. We could do without Mr Hart breaking his neck in May!!!

Purely as my choice, I would like Arsenal @ Roots Hall or Liverpool @ Anfield.

Although I would still be chuffed to bits with Spurs, Man Utd, Man City or Chelsea....we've done these games before since I started watching Blues in early 90's.

In reality, any of the above along with even Newcastle or Everton would be a great spectical and a money spinner. If none of these sides then a winnable home tie against lowest possible opposition!!!!

Hull at Roots Hall - that'll do for me  Good chance of an upset and a plum draw next round :smile:
