Battle of the Bonds

Sean Connery was the only Bond ever worth watching.

And here's why you're wrong (in my opinion):

Roger Moore was my favourite Bond too Rusty, he brought a touch of humour to it that only Brosnan, of the others, got close to. This all action guy that he's morphed into is much less to my taste.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service please. Thought George Lazenby was fab. I also love Skyfall, once of the best James Bond films in my opinion but love the old films too.

Dalton and Craig are far more like the character in the original books.

Lazenby always stood out for me as most like the Bond in the books but he wasn't my favourite Bond. As Naps said, each Bond brought something different to the era they've represented. For me, much as I hated Moore's take on things, he, Connery and Brosnan were right at the time. Craig was a masterstroke though as was the combination of Sam Mendes and Roger Deakins in production for Skyfall which is a stunningly beautiful film. I learned years ago never to judge the movies on the strengths of their plots.

Really can't wait for Spectre!

Or George Lesbian as my son nearly called him on live TV - this was one of his Challenge Ant questions when he did it on SM:tv some years ago! :hilarious:
