Labour and the General Election

Well you may not have Orwell's socialist credentials but you've got his dislike of dirt.

Actually, I've always taken a rather Quentin Crisp like attitude to dirt ( you might have heard that he famously never cleaned his Chelsea flat).

Fortunately,my wife is more than houseproud enough for both of us

Claiming He would rather forego being Prime Minister than have an alliance with the SNP is a pretty big thing to say. He is going to be ripped limb from limb politically if he goes back on that revelation.

What happens from next Friday will take us into a looking glass world.

Miliband knows that the SNP can't really be trusted though (as 1979 proved).

Interesting that not one person on the left decided to have a debate about my earlier points. (Though I do realise there were more important things going on).

LOL ****ing hell.

Peak levels of 'The Thick of It' have been reached

We've been there for some time.

Actually, I don't entirely blame Ed for this. They're all doing it.

Surely, unless I am mistaken, this is fraud? And yet this is the man Labour propose to oversee our economy should they be elected! Honestly, they are all as bad as each other, but at least the Tories are "bad" for the benefit of the UK! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ue-150-glazier-TWICE.html?ito=social-facebook

Also, this is something that has ****ed me off for years, why do Labour prospective PMs insist on wearing blue ties?!!! Bliar used to do it often and now Millibland is doing it too!

But the Tories are the ones encouraging the SNP vote in Scotland (via Murdoch of course) whereas Labour are fighting SNP tooth and nail (though to no avail it seems). For me, the Tories don't care about the UK, they only care about clinging to power.

Yep, that's good stuff. The Tory campaign totally underestimated him. Cameron and Crosby think they can just tell everyone what a loser Miliband is and the public will simply believe them (Cameron does this about most things actually). Tories haven't won an election since 1992 and yet they still arrogantly assume that secretly everyone is a Tory and they just need reminding of that. Remember Michael Howard's 'Are you thinking what we're thinking?' campaign from 2005-- that worked out well for them didn't it?
