Question Football Books

I'm heading off on my holidays for 10 days in July and looking at getting a couple of good football books to read whilst on my sunlounger.

I've read Red Card Roy and Simon Jordan's (Ex-Palace chairman) autobiography on previous holidays and am nearly finished with The Nowhere Men, so looking at a couple of good suggestions.

Any recommendations?

Graham Hunter's 'Barça' is up there with the best football books I've read. Very interesting and great overview of the Guardiola era there.

Im pretty sure ex southend player Ben Smith has just written a book. I believe its called "Journey Man" and he explains the life of a lower league footballer. Might be worth a read:thumbsup:

The Ben Smith book looks really good.

It's been a while since I read it, but there was some great stuff on the game in Sevilla and the Basque Country too.

There has certainly been an update as when it was first written, Spain's international record was pretty dire. I seem to recall they've done rather better of late...
