On the other hand, if you always sub off your players on a yellow at half time you won't have many subs left. Halford has more experience than anyone on the pitch and should have been clever enough to play until the 70th min or so before we had to make a change.

Experienced but a bit lumbering. We also still have loads of subs. As a said if it had been a more key player you take the risk I don’t see Halford as worth the risk.

Yeah I get what you're saying and I don't completely disagree. But also it's always a bit of a risk to change your defensive set-up at half time, especially when you've kept a clean sheet so far. Sometimes just changing the setup at the back can upset things.
