Daggers have a F A Trophy match so another Saturday rearranged.
That sucks.Bit of a blow - had Richard Cadette lined up as our SUEPA match day guest for that one
You finally got him, then?Bit of a blow - had Richard Cadette lined up as our SUEPA match day guest for that one
In fact all of our home league wins (Eastleigh and Dover being the other two), have been evening games. We are pretty good at the moment under the lights. Yeovil, Kings Lynn, Bromley, Barnet all wins under lights.
Tuesdays are a rush for me and I normally miss 15-20 mins. I may as well bin my two young childrens STs too. The FA Trophy being on Saturdays seems a bit oddIIRC we had just 3 regular 3pm Saturday home kick offs before Christmas this season and it now seems we will only have 3 this 2nd half of the season as well.
Appalling for season ticket holders, and others who City work etc, and pretty difficult for hospitality bookings.
When fixtures came out I thought they were very poor but with covid and cup interruptions they are considerably worse.
I wouldn't read too much into that considering on what days the home fixtures have recently fallen and the contemporary uptick in form.In fact all of our home league wins (Eastleigh and Dover being the other two), have been evening games.
Merely observing a fact.I wouldn't read too much into that considering on what days the home fixtures have recently fallen and the contemporary uptick in form.
Can't they move that P0xy trophy game to a week day rather than our game?.
Once upon a time it was the most important competition for non league teams. Just like the FA cup was for 90% of the league teams.I've never understood why FA trophy fixtures take precedence over league ones. Seems a bit daft.
They have scheduled home league games against Chesterfield and Woking on them dates. Both teams no longer in FA Trophy, so will not happen unfortunatelyHmmm, Wrexham 3 Boreham Wood 0, I suspect the Wood Army were not that fussed about the Trophy either. I wonder if we could squeeze them in on one of our open Saturdays now?
