6222 now, steadily creeping up, will be nice to see a full, well nearly, Hall. Would’ve been nice to see a 500+ away following as well!
It's always the south lower that lets us down (understandably). The club used to give away free tickets to schools for that part of the ground, which filled it out.

I always think it's sad that the family enclosure always looks depleted. That always used to be full. Can't blame parents for not wanting to bring their kids though. Just a bit sad when you consider we used to win awards for being family club of the year.

Maybe some incentives like cheaper tickets in these parts of the stadium, but one get one free etc would help to shift some of the tickets in these areas.

Block X in the West now seems to be being opened - although only about 25 seats available at the moment. Not sure if they’ve boobed somewhere in the settings but more will likely be able to be purchased pretty soon
Assuming these will get snapped up pretty quickly.

Yes, it is dissapointing that the family area is not full. There are reasons for this, the facilities are pretty grim and parents/carers do not want their children to listen to obscene language which unfortunately happens at most senior level football matches.

Also a lot of parents are quite happy for their little ones to sit in the main stands with them. I know we take my little neice and nephew in the main West when we go and there are plenty of other nippers in there.

Really looking forward to tonight, love a Friday night game. Everyone in a good mood as most have knocked off work for the week, and a few beers beforehand.

Can anyone advise what time the Far Post opens please? I should really know, but due to my advancing years I'm more an 'after game' drinker these days.

Well the gates open at 6-15 or should do, so the bar will be open then.

Yeah I never bothered with family area for me and my lad when he was younger, pretty much always went south upper. Quite a few kids with parents up there

Believe they still do in south lower in the pub after last home game met an annoying West Ham fan moaned about everything. He said took his son free ticket through school in south lower

The free school tickets should be pushed more imo. I wouldn’t be supporting Southend had it not been for a free ticket that I got when I was in primary school.
Absolutely! Allowing schools, clubs or parents to bring kids free will pay dividends in the medium to long run.
Especially when you have a squad and coaching team that are so focused on the fans.
