100% red. Was waiting to see confirmation either way.Obviously a game of opinions, but no.
The foul in the first half was as stone wall as a red card could get. Pic below shows the moment of contact. Don’t get me wrong, this doesn’t mean we’d have won the game, but it’d certainly have changed the dynamic of it.

Aside from a few routine (IMO) saves from our keeper, I didn’t think you troubled us too much. You didn’t control the game and certainly didn’t edge it. It felt like a 0-0 game for most of it, with The Bees intent on preserving a clean sheet & us unable to create many real opportunities.
Congratulations on the win. We couldn’t score down York Road tonight. On that showing neither of us will go up, but on the positive side I will look forward to another trip to The Hive next season, which may not be as good as Underhill, but is still a decent away day in this ramshackle division
Perhaps in the past we were and hopefully in the future we will be but sadly, it currently feels about right. The thing that is way beyond NL is the amazing support for the club, loyal through thick and thin…Am I right in thinking that a small minority of fans still think "we are too big for this league"?
Ah, Stan Flashman the ticket tout, or broker as he told people to call him. He kept firing and reinstating Barry Fry. He sacked him 7 or 8 times I think. . He knew Barry Fry was about the best Manager he could get for his part time players at that level. But they had a love hate relationship. Stan once threatened to have Barry Fry buried in cement under the M25, Barry told people at Southend. Stan was famous for saying he would make Barnet as big as AC Milan.Morello---Who can forget Stan Flashman?----Was there a second set of books behind the fridge?
If my memory serves me right Barnet played Clapton at Victoria Road (home of the late Dagenham F C) and I saw Stan in the car park.
Which is 3 more goals than HydeStop hyping Dackers up as if he was something amazing... He scored 3 goals and one was a penalty!
Yes, well done.A night of disappointment. Started ok, great atmosphere and noise, but after the first 20 mins I don't think we made much of an impact and Barnet could have had 3 or 4. They have huge players, surely some of the biggest in the league, and whilst size on it's own doesn't mean anything, it doesn't help when almost every corner and free kick is food and drink for 6'5" players to simply head clear. We showed very little invention and their no 27 at the back had Powell in his pocket (almost literally).
I don't get some of the comments about Sandat... he's a 17 year old youth player, not in the team on merit but out of necessity. He wouldn't normally be anywhere near the first team, he's being asked to do a very difficult job with no experience and is making a half decent fist of it. He isn't quick enough in my opinion but he can certainly see a pass... I'm wondering if he may be more suited to an attacking/creative midfield role because he set up more attacks than anyone else last night. This wouldn't be an overnight switch but it wouldn't surprise me to see this... you heard it here first.
Blondy did really well apart from once and that cost us. But he could have saved that and not saved either of the 2 one-on-ones that he did save and no-one would be critical.
Some of Hobson's passing early on was woeful but my word, he made 2 or 3 (and 1 in particular) fantastic tackles and blocks.
Look, these players are NL players and many of them have come up from lower levels. If they did everything right all the time they wouldn't be here! They have given their best and should be applauded for that, not taken to pieces. We all know and are amazed at how they have managed to get us where we are in the league. Kev and his team (inc. Stanley, who also loves this club) have performed miracles keeping this unit together despite Ron's performance and decisions and we've heard numerous times that this group all like each other, do stuff together outside of the club and the performances on the pitch have backed that up.
And now Lopata.
Certainly the most disappointing aspect for me and this put a huge dampener on the evening when I found out about it as I was walking to the game. Mainly I think because of all the stuff he had said before, how much he loves it here and how he also celebrated with the team last weekend... certainly not the actions of someone apparently about to leave. It's obviously agent driven and in truth, I don't think anyone could blame any of the players... but the fact that the rest of the squad are seemingly all in it together make this hurt a little bit.
This just shows what a cracking job Maher and crew are doing keeping everything together.
When you have a row with your girlfriend do you accuse her of being a Col U fan too?Too bad, transfer deadline for EFL is done!! He a right ******** for what happened tonight. Even my girlfriend, also polish, agreed with me. He can fcuk right off now!!
So…when Sandat “dithered” and was pulled down…yellow or red?Barnet fan here who was at the game. Read a lot of comments on here not overly positive about our style. The interesting thing about our manager is he changes our system and style depending on the opposition. Today he bought in Diarra, big lad in midfield and put our Captain Gorman on the bench. We played 4 at the back usually a 3 so we didn't play our usual football at the back. Credit to us we came and adapted to play you. Yes we were touch tight and niggly, physical but we are able to match a team in a fight. We bought on Gorman last 25mins started playing more offensively.
You played some nice football but it felt like you wanted to walk it in. Some of your players are a bit tarty! The little body builder guy was useless up front. Way too many flicks from your lot. Hardly any crosses although you didn't have much to aim at.
The lad who had a chance in on goal before beard pulled him down should of powered on but slowed and dithered.
Jake Hyde wasn't the answer for us 8 years ago so he's not what you need.
Overall I would of taken a point but I think we edged it.
Great atmosphere, best of luck with that prick you have in charge. Fairplay to one of your fans who actually shook my hand whilst I was sitting in traffic wished me and my lad a safe journey back.
Hyde has only played more than 80 minutes twice in 15 appearances, and scored the same amount of goals as Dackers.Which is 3 more goals than Hyde
Also consider Dackers height and presence which panicked defenders and took the focus away from other players in and around the box
You probably have a row with your girlfriend for eating an snows. When you have a row with your girlfriend do you accuse her of being a Col U fan too?
Did that even make sense in your own head?!?You probably have a row with your girlfriend for eating a snows.
Good spot with the body builder …..if the strikers on the sick bed had body’s that could take two games on the trot then C.P would be 5th in line…..whoever scouted him got that one wrong. I don’t think he has ever gone round anyone and has the shot of a girl……Wreh to start next time please!
But you are a Col U fan? Please confirm, yes or no.When you have a row with your girlfriend do you accuse her of being a Col U fan too?
